AnwarulHuda Foundation Trust (AHFT) is a registered charitable trust in Pakistan, dedicated to providing support and care for vulnerable individuals. Our trust operates through two platforms: Anwarulhuda Hostel and Sughra Homes Residential & Vocational Centre.
Anwarulhuda Hostel serves as a safe haven for looked after children in need of care. We understand the importance of addressing their fundamental needs, including housing, health, education, and welfare services. A dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that children and young adults, particularly orphaned females from destitute families, receive the support they require to lead fulfilling lives and overcome the challenges they face.
Sughra Homes Residential & Vocational Centre focus on meeting the unique needs of young females with hearing impairments. center provides housing, educational support, and vocational training to empower these individuals and equip them with the skills necessary for their personal and professional growth.
AHFT has partnership agreement with Icon for Child and Adult Nurturing (ICAN). This collaboration allows ICAN team to offer guidance and support in promoting positive mental health and wellness among AHFT staff, volunteers, and students, with ICAN's expertise, we can enhance our efforts to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all those involved in personal and professional growth by providing comprehensive care, education, vocational training, and promoting positive mental health, we strive to empower vulnerable individuals, break the cycle of poverty, and create a brighter future for the communities we serve.

Our Activities
Three Days Woman Empowerment Training and field Trip
CADPHF Team in collaboration with Ms. Zeenat Fatima, Founder of Gulabi Baithak (Pink Space), a platform dedicated to championing women's causes organized three days training. The training program proved to be a transformative experience for the participants as they explored important topics such as gender equality, conflict management, and networking and collaboration. Ms. Zeenat Fatima's expertise and passion resonated with the attendees, providing them with valuable insights and strategies to navigate the challenges they face in their daily lives. Through interactive sessions, group discussions, and practical exercises, the training aimed to humanize the experience and ensure the participants felt heard, understood, and empowered. The emphasis on gender equality fostered a sense of inclusivity, encouraging the participants to recognize their inherent worth and potential.
School Visit and Self Development Sessions
Our team organized a range of engaging activities and conducted training sessions, creating a relaxing and motivational environment for teachers and students alike. To empower the students, special sessions utilizing expressive art techniques were held, encouraging them to explore their inner strength and talents.
The primary objective of these school visits was to motivate and uplift the students, recognizing and appreciating their efforts while boosting their confidence to strive for even better performance. The girls, in particular, showed great enthusiasm and eagerly collaborated with our team, actively involving their teachers and fellow classmates in the process.
The interactive nature of the activities fostered a sense of excitement and camaraderie among the participants. Through these initiatives, we aimed to instill a belief in the students' capabilities, nurturing their self-esteem and inspiring them to excel in their academic pursuits.
By creating a supportive and encouraging environment within the school setting, we seek to empower the students to realize their full potential and embrace their unique talents. Through these visits, we strive to foster a positive mindset, motivating students to set ambitious goals and work towards achieving them.
Recreational Picnic and Self- Discovery Sessions
The team organized a retreat for the girls of Anwar ul Huda, providing them with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the breathtaking landscape of Skardu. During the retreat, we planned various games that carried valuable life lessons for the girls, allowing them to learn while having fun. They thoroughly enjoyed activities such as boating and painting, surrounded by the mesmerizing scenery. To enhance personal growth and well-being, we designed self-discovery activities that incorporated expressive art techniques. These activities were conducted against the backdrop of a serene waterfall, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and inner peace. The girls had a deeply inspirational and reflective experience as they engaged in these activities.
Additionally, we were fortunate to have talented photographers present, capturing the precious moments and creating lasting memories for the girls. They delighted in posing for photographs and preserving the beauty of the retreat forever. Through this retreat, our aim was to provide a holistic experience for the girls of Anwar ul Huda. We wanted them to not only enjoy the natural beauty of Skardu but also engage in activities that fostered personal growth, self-expression, and a positive mindset. The combination of stunning surroundings and meaningful activities resulted in a truly transformative and memorable experience for everyone involved.
Vocational Skill Training Art and Craft Projects
During this vocational skill training session, our focus was on introducing the girls at the care home to the art of calligraphy and various craft activities. Our goal was to equip them with practical skills that they could not only enjoy but also potentially turn into a business in the future, empowering them to become independent.
One of our dedicated volunteers worked closely with a group of older girls and those with special needs from Sughra Homes, teaching them the intricacies of calligraphy. We were truly proud and amazed by the experience, as these girls exhibited remarkable creativity and proved to be quick learners.
Through hands-on practice and guidance, the girls discovered their innate artistic talents and honed their calligraphy skills. Witnessing their progress and enthusiasm was truly inspiring. We believe that this training will not only provide them with a valuable skill but also boost their self-confidence and open doors to future opportunities.
We are excited about the potential for these girls to utilize their newly acquired skills in the world of calligraphy and crafts. By nurturing their creativity and fostering a passion for their craft, we hope to empower them to explore various avenues, including setting up their own businesses and gaining financial independence.
SUGHRA HOMES- VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER and Brand LAQSHES
Sughra Homes Vocational Training Center, along with its brand LAQSHES, was established with the aim of empowering all girls, particularly those with hearing impairments, to become productive members of society. The core idea behind this vocational center is to provide a platform for deaf girls to actively participate in various activities and gain valuable skills and training.
At the center, the girls are engaged in a range of vocational activities, including crocheting, machine knitting, art sketching, and craft making. These handcrafted products, made with meticulous care and attention, are marketed under the brand name LAQSHES, derived from the Balti word for "handmade with care."
The vocational training programs offered at Sughra Homes enable the girls to develop their talents, enhance their creativity, and acquire marketable skills. Through these initiatives, they gain self-confidence, financial independence, and the ability to contribute to their communities.
LAQSHES products not only showcase the artistic abilities and craftsmanship of the girls but also serve as a symbol of empowerment and inclusion. By purchasing these handmade products, individuals are not only supporting the girls' journey towards self-sufficiency but also embracing the value of inclusivity and promoting their participation in society.
The establishment of Sughra Homes Vocational Training Center and the introduction of LAQSHES as a brand have significantly impacted the lives of these girls, enabling them to break barriers, overcome challenges, and thrive in their chosen crafts.
